Welcome to Ghosts , Ghouls and God, a site dedicated to determining a biblical understanding of ghosts, and other paranormal creatures mentioned within Scripture. Within this site, we take an approach to Scripture that attempts to read it through the eyes and cultural understanding of the original writers and readers, who were influenced by their surrounding cultures. Once you begin to view Scripture this way, you’ll see it in a whole new, supernaturally filled, and spiritually uplifting and encouraging light.
The site aims to provide a solid biblical basis for understanding the spiritual realm, based upon the Wesleyan Quadrilateral approach of using Scripture, Tradition, Reason and Experience.
We have an associated Facebook group which we invite you to join. This is a safe, non-judgemental ploace where we share experiences and offer help and prayer for those who are experiencing issues as well as learning from each other.
Whilst we do not advocate initiating contact with the spiritual realm due to particular issues that can arise, including disturbance of the dead, as well as possibly inviting non-human interference that can be unhelpful in origin, we do realise that sometimes these things come through to us. We are encouraged in Scripture to test all the spirits (1 John 4:1) which requires careful discernment, and not something for an individual on their own to become involved without specialist help.
