Editor of The Christian Parapsychologist journal, Christian Paranormal
Investigator, Researcher and Writer
In 2019 I graduated with a distinction level Masters in Pioneering Ministries / Fresh Expressions from Manchester University (UK) through Cliff College. During this, I won the prize for the dissertation with the highest mark – 82%! The title of the dissertation was ‘Paranormal Hauntings and Applications in Deliverance Ministry: A Critical Investigation‘ .
In my spiritual journey over the last ten years, I have, as a Christian paranormal investigator, been consulted and helped out on a number of cases where people have been experiencing haunting related issues. My working knowledge of the subject, together with pastoral skills, have enabled me to help bring healing and wholeness to those concerned.
I am currently editor of The Christian Parapsychologist journal .
I was brought up in a Baptist Church in Dudley, West Midlands, where I became a follower of Jesus. Here I was baptised in 1988 at the age of 15. I have been involved in a variety of different denominations, often leading youth and home groups.
My interest in the paranormal began at an early age whilst doing a primary school project on ghosts. This interest reawakened with the rise in paranormal TV programmes, beginning with Most Haunted.
From 2015 to 2019 I worked in an old mining village as a lay pioneer minister in the Church of England.
I currently live in Nottinghamshire, within the boundary of Sherwood Forest.
How Can I Help You?
Sadly many Christians see the paranormal as a taboo subject. This stems from a lack of good Bible teaching on the subject, leading to unnecessary fear. With my theological and pastoral training, and as a degree level engineer and scientist , I aim to help people better engage the subject in a Christian manner.
Whilst no expert in every field of the paranormal, I know when and where to get help where necessary and have been consulted on a number of potentially paranormal cases by Christians and non-Christians alike.
As a Christian paranormal investigator who seeks to explore the subject biblically and intelligently, I have been published in various journals. I have been a speaker on this subject at various gatherings, podcast interviews and on Premier and BBC radio stations:
I have a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge, working as a secondary school Physics teacher for over 15 years. Using these skills I have led training workshops, helping people understand how to engage with Scripture and others contextually.
I am currently supply teaching. This allows me freedom to engage in my passion for helping people who are experiencing paranormal issues, specifically as a Christian paranormal investigator. It also gives me time to research and write to help others understand the paranormal in the Bible.
I enjoy walking, reading and watching TV, and am an avid board game collector and player. I am also an experienced stage mentalist and close-up magician, a skillset which can help me spot potential faking of paranormal phenomena.
